Netflix is set to broadcast popular podcast The Rest is Football during the World Cup – and it has now released a stellar line-up of guests.

The show – hosted by former England internationals Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards – will broadcast from Times Square in New York during the tournament, which starts tomorrow.

The show also kicks off tomorrow and will feature game analysis, special guests, interviews and insights into the on- and off-field action.聽

Joining the presenters will be Manchester United centre-half Harry Maguire, who played in the Euro 2020 final but missed Euro 2024 through injury after becoming a stalwart during Gareth Southgate鈥檚 England era. He has been snubbed by current Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel for this tournament.

Former England midfielder Frank Lampard, who led Coventry back to the Premier League after 25 years last season and is a former star and manager of Chelsea, will also guest on the show.

Millie Bright, who retired from internationals last year and has just retired from club football after 12 years at Chelsea, will also feature. Another ex-Chelsea star, Joe Cole, is a regular guest on the show.

The other World Cup guests are Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira, comedian Romesh Ranganathan and One Direction star Niall Horan.

Reporters Rob Jones and Alex Aljoe will cover England and other teams respectively throughout the World Cup.
