老九品茶Cloud has launched a search for the UK鈥檚 best founder-led and founder-influenced businesses.

We鈥檝e joined forces with leading audit, tax and consulting advisory firm , fast-growing law firm 聽property specialist and investor for our inaugural Founder 250 list.

Nominations are open for businesses which wish to be considered for inclusion in the list, set to be published in June 2026.

We鈥檙e looking for founder-led or founder-influenced businesses that are truly moving the dial – whether that influence comes from a founder as CEO, chairman or in another board role.

To qualify, companies must have a significant UK presence – be cash generative – and have been founded no later than 2024.

While not essential, judges will also favour businesses with a clear purpose – including B Corp status, ESG strategies, or a commitment to charity or social impact initiatives.

The deadline for nominations has been extended to 8th May.

    Core eligibility criteria

    To be considered for the list, companies must:

    鈥� Be founder-led or founder-influenced (e.g. founder as chair, significant shareholder, or in a strategic role)
    鈥� Be a UK-registered company (UK HQ or significant UK operations)
    鈥� Be revenue-generating (not pre-revenue)
    鈥� Demonstrate clear evidence of growth (e.g. revenue, team size, funding, market expansion)
    鈥� Have been founded or incorporated no later than 2024

    While not essential, judges will also look favourably on businesses that demonstrate a clear purpose, such as:

    鈥� B Corp certification
    鈥� ESG strategy
    鈥� Social impact or charitable initiatives
    鈥� Closing date for submissions: 30 April 2026
