A UK communications and IT managed service provider has announced the appointment of Lee Johnson as its new Chief Technology Officer and Head of Cyber Security.
Air IT, headquartered in Nottingham, has also announced that Johnson will head up Air Sec, the company鈥檚 specialist cyber security division.
As the company鈥檚 resident security specialist, Johnson will offer expert insight to more than 400 of Air IT鈥檚 SME and enterprise clients on critical protection plans and recovery against internal and external security threats.
With more than 13 years鈥 experience in the IT industry, Johnson will be responsible for directing the company鈥檚 technical strategy and will be involved in supporting Air IT鈥檚 ambitious growth plans.

Johnson previously worked for IT organisations, providing infrastructure support across a number of sectors, based in the UK, China, Hong Kong and New York.
He is also a consultant to the East Midlands Chamber, delivering action-planning workshops to SMEs on cyber security, Office 365 and cloud computing as part of the EU funded Digital Growth Programme.
