EasyJet have added an AR feature to their app to allow passengers to check if their suitcase will fit in the cabin before they leave home.
The augmented reality software provides an on-screen 3D box, which uses the phone鈥檚 camera to size the cabin bag and indicates whether it will fit with the airline鈥檚 proposed proportions.
It uses Apple鈥檚 ARKit2 technology and as a result, only works with iPhone models from the iPhone 6S and onwards.
Travelport developed the feature for easyJet and said it was thrilled to support easyJet push the barrier of travel innovation.

EasyJet says the feature will allow customers to save money as they won鈥檛 have to face additional charges at the gate.
Easyjet said: 鈥淲hilst the permitted dimensions of cabin bags are clearly displayed on easyJet鈥檚 website, the move is set to make it even easier for customers to check their luggage and provide greater certainty as to whether they can travel with their bag in the cabin.
鈥淚t also means they won鈥檛 be faced with any additional charges at the gate for bringing an oversized bag which can鈥檛 be taken onboard.鈥�
Travel app Kayak already offers the AR measuring software, allowing travellers of any airlines under them to check their bags, including Norwegian Air, British Airways and Ryanair.
