Vodafone CFO quits for CEO role

Senecal De Fonseca鈥檚 appointment comes a month after the firm鈥檚 former CEO designate Brian Woodford decided to step down from the role.聽

Woodford was set to replace Peter Brotherton, who had decided to step down from the CEO role in January, but ended up returning to the role after Woodford鈥檚 departure in a turbulent time for the company.聽

Now that a new CEO has been appointed, Brotherton has agreed to remain available to the business in a strategic advisory capacity.

The firm has also released its FY25 results, with revenues increasing by 4.2 per cent to 拢170m.聽

Redcentric鈥檚 adjusted EBITDA increased significantly in FY25, rising from 拢28.3m to 拢37m.聽

The company has accredited these results to its acquisition strategy and the positive impact of enhanced operational efficiencies.聽聽

During FY25, it successfully completed the migration of the data centres business, a key milestone in Redcentric’s transformation strategy.聽

Richard McGuire, chairman of Redcentric, added: 鈥淔Y25 was a transformative year for the company, a year in which it delivered significant revenue and EBITDA growth predominantly driven by prior strategic acquisitions and operational excellence.聽

鈥淭he entire Redcentric team successfully delivered the separation of our MSP and DC divisions, and management’s resilience and focus on cost efficiency have positioned the company for continued success.

鈥淲hilst the board joins me in welcoming Michelle to her new role as CEO, they would also like to thank Peter for his strong leadership to date and we are pleased that he will remain with the company for a period of time as a strategic advisor and support a seamless transition of CEO duties.聽聽

鈥淚 look forward to working with Michelle who has significant sector experience.聽 In FY26, our aim is to build on the strong foundations laid during the year, to accelerate organic growth, streamline operations, and enhance returns for our shareholders.鈥
