Users of a farm management platform are benefiting from enhanced data connectivity thanks to a new partnership.

MyFarm, which is currently has 4,000 users,was created in 2012 as a free online serviceofferingdetailed crop recording, market data and expert analysis to customers ofcrop production and grain marketing business Frontier Agriculture.

After several years the technology was due an enhancement– hence the new partnership with IT services consultancy WHISHWORKS.

Agriculture is an incredibly challenging industry for arable farmers, with many considerations at play in farm and crop management, as well as environmental and political factors, planning effective crop rotations, deciding when to sell, and keeping up with legislation.

The consultancy says the newoptimised version ofMyFarmpulls data froma number ofdata sourcesthrough150 APIs,alsoservingMyMarketsandMyCrop platforms,leading to simpler data management and analysis.

This allows them to make informed business decisions and ensures their farm and grain management is both efficient and resilient.
