MacInnes moves听from the听same position at听John Lewis Partnership, where he was pivotal to the retailer鈥檚 move from bricks and mortar to 100% online during the COVID-19 pandemic.听
He听previously听spent over a decade at the BBC delivering听market-leading听disruptive digital services including听iPlayer,听Red Button听and Children in Need.听
He has also worked over long periods with听lastminute.com and听software giant听Sage, where he helped听action听the latter鈥檚 move to the cloud.听听
