MacInnes movesfrom thesame position atJohn Lewis Partnership, where he was pivotal to the retailer’s move from bricks and mortar to 100% online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hepreviouslyspent over a decade at the BBC deliveringmarket-leadingdisruptive digital services includingiPlayer,Red Buttonand Children in Need.
He has also worked over long periods withlastminute.com andsoftware giantSage, where he helpedactionthe latter’s move to the cloud.

Hisbackground will enable MacInnes to drive the roadmap for Google Cloud through customer insight, C-Level conversations and Research and Development.
