Equity management platformCapdeskhasannounced a Series A extension which sees the funding round top £8 million.

Led by Fidelity International Strategic Ventures, a dedicated venture capital team at Fidelity International, andMiddleGameVentures, an early-stageFinTech venture firm, the extensionfollows an initial raise of £3m in 2020, led by Fuel Ventures.

The London firm, which enables privately owned companies to manage their equity digitally via a single platform, has raised £11.7m since being founded in 2015.

Capdeskcounts hundreds of Europe’s fast-growth businesses as its clients, includingGousto, Secret Escapes,Privitar, Voi Technology and Billie.

Itcaters to founders, employees and investors by digitising equity, options and warrants transactions and giving shareholders access to Europe’s largest private secondaries market through a partnership withSeedrs.

The company says the extension will position it to build a fully integrated ‘seed to post-IPO’ equity solution for a traditionally underserved space in Europe.
