Civica has acquired听digital health software specialist听InfoFlex.听
The UK arm of the group, which is a provider of software for public services,听has acquired Chameleon Information Management Services听and its subsidiary听InfoFlex, which is based inside the M25 near Watford.听
InfoFlex听provides听cloud听software which integrates听with existing hospital systems across 65 clinical specialities including cancer services, digital remote monitoring solutions (RMS), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and endoscopy.听
It has more than 40,000 users across over 130 NHS trusts.听During the COVID-19 pandemic,听InfoFlex听says听trusts have used听the platform听in innovative ways to manage data collection and reporting.听听
It cites the example of听West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which听used the software to set up a Virtual Hospital for the administration of patients being cared for in the community.听
