Online investment marketplace Crowdcube has appointed the CIO at Moneysupermarket as its new Chief Technology Officer.

David Halsey will lead Crowdcube’s engineering team and have responsibility for delivering new products and internationalising the platform as it expands to Europe.

This starts with the recently announced Community IPO, which will makeCrowdcubethe only investment marketplace to offer retail investors access to European businesses fromstartupto IPO, alongside institutional and Venture Capital investors.

Halseywas heavily involved in the digital transformationof AutotraderbeforegrowingEuropean marketplaces at eBaythenbuildingout an agile product engineering function atMoneysupermarket.
