Crowdfunder has appointed Crowdcube founder Darren Westlake as interim chair for six months.

Crowdfunder, based in London, is a crowdfunding and fundraising platform which connects individuals and organisations to supporters who care.

It provides specialist fundraising advice and support from expert coaches and enables Crowdfunders to access match-funding opportunities.

Over 拢300 million has been raised by its Crowdfunders, plus tens of millions more unlocked by partners to support campaigns for startups, charities, social enterprises, communities, businesses, political movements and individuals.

Westlake brings a wealth of experience having led Europe鈥檚 home for equity crowdfunding Crowdcube team for 13 years as CEO and founder as well as acting as a board director for Crowdfunder for 10 years.

He will report to the Crowdfunder board for a period of at least six months and will help the Crowdfunder leadership team to appoint a long-term chair, manage and refresh the board, contribute to company strategy and help Crowdfunder鈥檚 CEO, Rob Love, lead the team.
