Fertility startup Dr Fertility has raised 拢1m seed round by North West focused VC Praetura Ventures.
Founded in 2018 by Dr Lucy Buckley, PhD and Kobi McCardle, the start-up was created to help couples navigate the complexity of fertility, with the view of becoming a one-stop-shop for couples looking to get pregnant.
The investment will enable the start-up to achieve this goal through technological upgrades and key hires.
The co-founders recently celebrated a 270 per cent growth in revenue.
Praetura Group will provide 90 per cent of the seed investment through its recently announced 拢15m EIS fund and will help the startup manage its financial, cash and recruitment strategy.
It will also contribute its experience in implementing tech roadmaps as Dr Fertility develops its digital platform, alongside board-level digital marketing support.
