A London-based eCommerce start-up has raised £1 million to take on Shopify and Magento.

Techsembly, a multi-store, multi-vendor SaaS solution for global scaling,says it has helped its users increase overseas sales by up to 70%.

The round was led by UK-based fund Superseed Ventures, which also included participation from private investors.

The company has already onboarded Curate Beauty, Scots of the World, The Peninsula Hotels and Anglo-American fashion platform Not Just a Label, whichalone hasmore than40,000independent fashion designers underit.

Using the funding,Techsemblyplans to assemble a cross-marketing team which will initially targettheUK, Europe and Asian markets.
