EnviroTechAppointments

Liverpool-based CleanTech startup Heatio has announced two appointments to its senior leadership team.

Neil Norman joins as chairman of the board and Scott Williams as chief product officer.

The new appointments are announced as Heatio works on two initiatives with the Government鈥檚 Net Zero Portfolio this summer after securing 拢2 million in investment.

Norman has also invested in Heatio as part of the oversubscribed investment round, which was led by Ascension with support from Conduit Connect, The Syndicate Room, Baltic Ventures and LYVA Labs.

Previously founder and CEO of MSite, he brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of developing and scaling organisations in the DeepTech sector.

Williams will drive Heatio鈥檚 product vision, strategy and execute its processes. He has years of experience building product capabilities and assets for scaling digital businesses at organisations such as Google, Habito and Kugu Home, as well as running his own business.

With a focus on strategic planning, collaboration, and innovation, Heatio is poised to support more homeowners in adopting low-carbon technologies and delivering the UK rollout of the Heatio smart home energy platform.
