Investment company Northern Gritstone has announced the appointment of Eve Howarth as co-investor and capital manager.
Founded in 2020, the company focuses on science and technology-enabled businesses in the North of England and is chaired by Lord Jim O鈥橬eill.
In its first four years, Northern Gritstone has made 30 investments into early-stage companies.
Howarth joins from Lazard, where she worked in its venture team, and will manage the relationships with Northern Gritstone鈥檚 co-investor community.聽
Her experience includes Assura’s 拢250m 20:80 joint venture with the Universities Superannuation Scheme, Pragmatic’s 拢182m Series D capital raise and Northern Gritstone’s 拢312m first close capital raise.
