Wirral-based Evoke Creative has continued to make headlines around the world for its technology.听
The company are specialists in interactive retail solutions and recently delivered a ground-breaking digital marketing solution for JD Sports at the brand鈥檚 flagship US store in Times Square, New York, which opened last month.听
Working in direct partnership with JD Sports and its brand partners, Evoke designed and implemented a unique solution that combines over 100 different digital signage and interactive kiosks, all controlled by Evoke鈥檚 cloud-based platform.
The听company听was included in the LCR Tech听Climbers听inaugural list in 2019听听and is听hoping to be听included in the new LCR Tech Climbers List 2021.听
Earlier this year Evoke听developed a kiosk which could check visitors鈥� temperature as they enter premises, providing an early warning system against Covid-19.听
Dean Ward is the co-founder and CTO of Evoke Digital and said the region鈥檚 tech credentials were sometimes overlooked.听
鈥淭hat鈥檚 why initiatives like the LCR Tech Climbers list听is听so important,鈥� he said. 鈥淲e were delighted to have been included in the inaugural one on 2019 and it would be a real honour to make the 2021 one.鈥澨�听
The second list promises to be even bigger and better than the 2019 one and will showcase the top performing technology-led businesses that make Liverpool City Region one of the UK鈥檚 most exciting tech destinations.听
The list is being run in association with听老九品茶Cloud听and will be unveiled at an exclusive event in 2021 and published online.听
Entries to the 2021 list will be judged on:
鈥� The impact of the technology or听service;
鈥� Innovation and IP development potential; and
鈥� Investment potential of the technology.听
Entries close on December 14th and will be revealed at an exclusive launch event on January 28th, 2021.听
The partners for LCR Tech Climbers 2021 are Growth Platform,听Brabners; MSIF; Invest Liverpool; ZUT Media; and Gather.听
Evoke Creative was founded more than 16 years ago and today employs 85 people and has a turnover of 拢15m.听
The company works extensively in the hospitality and retail sectors and has diversified so it鈥檚 not too reliant on one industry. It has worked with big names听like 听Google, Walmart and Goldman Sachs.听
听鈥淥ver the last 12 months we鈥檝e been building a solutions-based business which is creating recurring revenue,鈥� he said.听听
鈥淔or听example听we鈥檝e been doing a lot of work on parking systems. Our technology is used in hotel and gym check-ins and we鈥檝e created a听new generation of self-service kiosks for听McDonald’s.听
鈥淓verything that we do is about trying to improve the customer experience and improve efficiency.鈥�听
In 2018 Evoke received a 拢6m investment from BGF to support further growth in the UK and overseas.听
