CMR Surgical, the company behind surgicalÌýrobotic systemÌýVersius,Ìý³ó²¹²õÌýappointedÌýBarrington ¶Ù’A°ù³¦²â as Chief Operations Officer.ÌýÌý

AsÌýCOOÌýBarrington will oversee the growth of CMRÌý³§³Ü°ù²µ¾±³¦²¹±ô’sÌýmanufacturing and supply chain to support the company’s global expansion.Ìý

Barrington has more than 20 years of manufacturing experience, having started his career in the automotive industry as a manufacturing engineer and most recently working within the aerospace industry.ÌýÌý

He joins CMR fromÌýElon Musk’sÌýSpaceX, where his primary focus was to accelerate SpaceX’s capability to manufacture space rockets in a high-tech, low-volume environment.ÌýÌý

WhileÌýat SpaceX, Barrington developed the manufacturing engineering team and led the composites manufacturing team across all disciplines.ÌýÌý

Prior to this, Barrington worked in manufacturing plants across Britain and Europe, specialising in automated manufacturing solutions for BMW and MINI, taking vehicles through the concept phase into full production.
