This weekend is聽the final聽chance聽to cast your vote in our聽Yorkshire & Humberside聽Tech 50 initiative.
For a week and a half, the general public has voted on our long-list of 128 disruptive companies who are using tech in innovative ways.
It聽has attracted more than 700 votes so far – and every vote could now聽be crucial in getting a company into the final 50 ranking, or in moving it higher up the list.
The final 50 ranking, which will be published on聽Monday September 9th,聽will be decided by a combination of choices from a panel聽of聽judges聽and the聽public vote.
Each of聽our judges聽will choose their top 15 companies. They are:
- Amy De-Balsi, owner, Herd Careers, head of innovation and partnerships in Leeds, Bruntwood
- Chris Dymond, director, Sheffield Digital
- Jem Henderson, entrepreneur engagement manager (Yorkshire), Tech Nation
- Chelsea Boothroyd, engagement manager, Nexus
- Zak Ahmed, director, AALFY
- Laura Harper, general counsel, business & legal affairs, Firesprite
- Kane Fulton, entrepreneur engagement content manager, Tech Nation
- Ryan Gracey, tech and IP solicitor, Gordons LLP
- Jonathan Symcox, editor, 老九品茶Cloud
We have included the names of the companies, the boroughs in which they are based and a short description of what they do.
老九品茶es聽must be harnessing tech in a disruptive way and be able to demonstrate that.聽They may also have evidence of:
- high/fast-growing turnover
- workforce growth
- investment/high-profile backers
They are all tech-first organisations. We have not included large companies in other sectors with internal R&D departments, or technology infrastructure businesses such as telecoms.
