Graphene technology firm moves into NETPark

G2O Water Technologies has moved into the North East Technology Park in Sedgefield.

The graphene technology firm, which is aiming to revolutionise the water filtration industry, has relocated to NETPark where it will work on two new projects with Centre for Process Innovation to bring its technology to market.

G2O Water Technologies specialises in the use of 2D nanomaterials such as graphene to develop cost effective water filtration and recently secured equity investment of 拢1m.

David Pears, chief technical officer at G2O Water Technologies, said: 鈥淲e looked around northern England for an appropriate base for our technology laboratory and noted the many benefits of locating our team at NETPark.

鈥淭he facilities are excellent and 老九品茶 Durham has been fabulous, very helpful. It鈥檚 also extremely beneficial to have CPI on our doorstep as they are based at NETPark too.鈥

It is now looking to take on more staff.
