Edinburgh HealthTech firm Care Sourcer has secured a 拢1.5m grant from Scottish Enterprise.
The start-up, founded in 2016, provides a tech platform to match care seekers with care providers and works with a number of NHS trusts.
CEO and co-founder Andrew Parfery, who set up the firm with Andrew McGingley, believes that Care Sourcer can be the 鈥楻ightmove鈥� of care.
鈥淎s we look to further scale the business in the months and years ahead, the support from Scottish Enterprise will enable us to grow the team to keep apace with our strategic growth plans,鈥� he said.
“We are building a fantastic team at Care Sourcer and we鈥檙e excited at the prospect of even more talented people joining the fold as we look to fix the broken care system in this country.鈥�
The firm has already raised 拢8.5m from Legal & General and ADV 鈥� it brings the total raised via grants and funding to 拢11.9m.
