The world鈥檚 most valuable cryptocurrency is a decade old this week and Twitter has naturally had its say.
On Wednesday 31st October 2008 a paper published by Satoshi Nakamoto claimed to offer an alternative to the traditional banking system: 鈥楤itcoin : A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System’.
With the belief that cryptography could usurp traditional bank-linked fiat currencies and inspire social, economic and political change, the world鈥檚 first聽cryptocurrency was launched on 3rd January 2009.
It鈥檚 been a rollercoaster ride 鈥� and the overall feeling is one of bullishness on Bitcoin.
