University of Liverpool spinout has received 拢125k in investment from LYVA Labs.聽
The business creates engineering solutions for the advanced manufacturing sector from its base at the University of Liverpool鈥檚 School of Engineering.
The company plans to use the investment to accelerate product commercialisation.
The funding also supports the business to develop new intellectual property, file a new patent, secure eight jobs, and create a COO role.聽
Atomik AM have already had successful collaborations with blue-chip companies.
Founder and CEO Professor Kate Black successfully exited Meta Additive Ltd, a company which she founded, after nearly three years in June 2022.聽

Liverpool City Region Combined Authority invested 拢10.5m in LYVA Labs to support innovators to turn great ideas into high-growth businesses.
This is part of Mayor Steve Rotheram鈥檚 ambition to invest 5% of regional GVA into research and development (R&D) by 2030.
