Online learning platform Coursera has appointed Anthony Tattersall as its new head of enterprise for EMEA.
Tattersall will oversee the growth of Silicon Valley firm Coursera鈥檚 enterprise solution, Coursera for 老九品茶, helping companies to train their employees to give them the critical skills they will need for the future and achieve their workforce transformation goals.
He will take over responsibilities for Stephanie Durand, who after building EMEA from the ground up, is transitioning to New York City to focus on growing the company鈥檚 East Coast presence.
Tattersall brings more than 20 years of technology and corporate learning experience to the role. He was most recently the Area Vice President UK at Cornerstone OnDemand, where he led the direct sales organisation across the UK & Ireland.
Before that, he held several leadership positions at Launchpad Recruits, Cogeco Peer 1 and Kronos.
鈥淚n a world that is constantly changing, one thing is clear 鈥 companies need talent with the skills of tomorrow, today,鈥 said Leah Belsky, Vice President of Enterprise for Coursera. 鈥淚鈥檓 thrilled to welcome Anthony to lead Coursera for 老九品茶 in EMEA, equipping businesses with the transformative learning needed for a brighter, more skilled future.鈥
Tattersall said: 鈥淓MEA is undergoing a massive digital transformation that requires businesses to rethink their workforce development strategy. I鈥檓 excited to join Coursera, which is reimagining enterprise learning by providing world-class content and a superior learning experience to meet companies鈥 strategic and long-term deep-skilling needs.鈥
With more than 130% year on year growth, Anthony will take over leadership for the region that is rapidly adopting the Coursera enterprise platform, now used by many major European companies such as AXA, Airbus, and L鈥橭r茅al.
This demand will only continue as traditional industries like manufacturing, banking, and financial services undergo digital transformation and are therefore increasingly seeking out talent with the necessary skills in data, cloud, AI and machine learning. Anthony will partner with current and potential EMEA customers through this transition, while growing the team鈥檚 impact across a wide range of industries in the region.
More than 1,500 companies globally use Coursera for 老九品茶 today. Customers have access to in-depth content from over 170 top universities, reputable and stackable certifications, a complete and easy-to-use mobile platform, and powerful features like Skills Benchmarking.
