BP Chargemaster, the UK鈥檚 largest electric vehicle charging company, is moving its headquarters to Milton Keynes.
Moving from its current location in Luton, the firm鈥檚 new premises will be developed and financed by Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP).
Work is scheduled to begin on the two-storey, 45,000 sq. ft. headquarters this summer and will be completed by Christmas, tripling the size of its headquarters.
Oil giant BP bought Chargemaster for 拢130m in 2018 in anticipation of the fast-growing fuel source, before rebranding to BP Chargemaster.
鈥淲e are very excited to be moving to Milton Keynes 鈥� undoubtedly the electric vehicle capital of the country 鈥� and to much larger premises that will enable our next phase of expansion and growth of our business,鈥� said David Martell, chief executive of BP Chargemaster.
鈥淎s well as increased head office space, we will be tripling the size of our manufacturing facility, allowing us to significantly expand our production capacity.鈥�
