Data transformation software provider Matillion has announced a£72 millionroundof funding.
Matillion, which was founded outside Manchester in 2013,says itismeeting exploding demand for cloud data integration for global enterprises includingAmazon, Siemens, Subway, Novartis, Slack and Accenture.
Lightspeed Venture Partners led the Series D round with participation from Battery Ventures, Sapphire Ventures and Scale Venture Partners,with financing from Silicon Valley Bank in the UK.
Matillionsays the investment willaccelerate global adoption of itscloud-based product whichenablesorganisations to transform raw data intorefined, analytics-ready datatosupport business intelligence, visualisation, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Itsdata integration platformworks withSnowflake, Amazon Redshift and Databricks, delivering powerful low-codeorno-code solutions for a wide range of data professionalswithin hundreds of companies around the world.
Today, Matillion has more than 170 employees working between dual headquarters in Denver andAltrincham, with offices in New York and Seattle.

In recent months, Matillion has appointed a chief customer officer, Shannah Van Winkle, a chief product officer, Ciaran Dynes, a CFO in KennethPaqvalenand CRO inBarrett Foster.
