Manchester is seeking India鈥檚 fastest growing digital companies to join its world-class ecosystem as part of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 – the contest that recognises聽India’s emerging and most dynamic tech businesses.
With the second largest ecosystem in the UK,聽key figures from聽Manchester鈥檚 inward investment agency (MIDAS)聽will visit some of India鈥檚 key IT hubs to attract the country鈥檚 top firms to the North of England and build new and existing relationships within the market.
As a critical market for Indian investors, Manchester will also showcase its strengths in digital excellence.
To attract top performing companies in India鈥檚 thriving tech sector, MIDAS and Deloitte India will host sessions with聽 Deloitte Fast50 shortlist on Monday 22 October in Delhi, Tuesday 23 October in Mumbai聽 and Friday 26 October in Bangalore.
MIDAS is also offering five of Deloitte鈥檚 2018 Technology Fast 50 winners the opportunity to win a generous establishment support package聽to set up their business in Manchester.
The prize also includes free flights to Manchester in April 2019 and three nights in deluxe accommodation.
Manchester has a strong digital infrastructure and the UK鈥檚 second highest proportion of tech companies looking to make a home within the city region鈥檚 flourishing hubs, such as MediaCityUK.
Home to ICICI Bank, Tech Mahindra, Hero Cycles, 42 Gears, Welspun, HCL & TCS, Manchester has established itself as a business destination of choice for Indian companies.
India is central to Manchester鈥檚 highly successful Internationalisation strategy, intended to strengthen relations and create further bilateral trade opportunities.
