Manchester United star Diogo Dalot has invested 拢840,000 into London-based HealthTech Bioniq.聽
The full-back, who has been a Manchester United regular in the past few seasons, joins his former United team-mate and current international captain Cristiano Ronaldo, who is among the firm鈥檚 shareholders after investing last year.聽
Bioniq is a developer of personalised nutritional supplements based on blood biomarker data and Dalot has been integrating the firm鈥檚 formulas into his diet over the past three years before deciding to invest.聽
The news comes after the company raised 拢11.5m in Series B funding last July to expand its global market share.聽
Dalot鈥檚 investment will be used to help the 2019-founded firm accelerate its growth but it also increases its credibility and is a useful marketing tool.聽
