Identity verification firm Hello Soda has been acquired by a counterpart headquartered in Los Angeles.听
The Manchester company, which听is focused on the European and Asian markets, has been snapped up for an undisclosed sum by听Acuant.听
Acuant听is a听global identity platform for fraud prevention and听anti-money laundering听compliance听which has听completed more than 1.5 billion transactions in over 200 countries and territories across all major industries.听
It said that along with听Hello Soda鈥檚 deep expertise in听eMoney听and gaming, with customers including听VirginBet, Klarna and听Paysafe, the union will bring together powerful technology and data science capabilities that are key to unlocking trust in digital identities.听
