VenueScanner,the UK’s largest online venue booking platform, has securedmore than£1 million funding.

Launchedin 2016to enable individuals, businesses and event organisers to find better and more affordable venues, it is helping undiscovered and independent venues reimagine how they use their space and fill their downtime.

The platform is used by businesses including Accenture, PWC, Skyscanner, theBBC and Google.

The investment fromTomSingh, founder of New Look,RiantaCapital and ACF Investors, willsupport the hospitality sector in its recovery from COVID-19.

“VenueScanner’stechnology is a game changer for the future of event booking – it simplifies the entire venue search process and crucially helps venues fill space that would otherwise sitempty,” said Singh.
