Northstar Ventures has opened the third tranche of its EIS Growth Fund for investor subscriptions.
The Newcastle-based venture capital firm has a track record built over two decades of investing, scaling and exiting fast-growing technology companies.
Now in its third year, the Northstar EIS Growth Fund gives individual investors the opportunity to back high-growth companies whilst also benefiting from generous income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax reliefs.聽
The third tranche of the fund is now open for new subscriptions, with fundraising scheduled to close on 30th April 2026.聽
Funds will be invested during the 2026/27 tax year in later stage growth companies alongside other funds managed by Northstar Ventures.聽
The Northstar EIS Growth Fund typically invests in the more mature companies in Northstar鈥檚 portfolio, which have proven revenues and are entering the growth phase of their development.
The fund鈥檚 investments to date cover a broad range of innovative businesses at the leading edge of technology.聽
They include MySalesCoach, which provides a personalised coaching platform and integrated AI products which will enable continuous sales coaching outside of individual sessions utilising the company鈥檚 proprietary datasets; Low Carbon Materials, which helps the construction sector build a鈥痭et zero鈥痺orld with carbon negative and carbon zero鈥痬aterials; and NunaBio, a Newcastle University spinout which has developed new processes that enables it to supply synthetic DNA to its clients quickly and at scale.
