O2 bags Manchester agency for digital drive

Telecoms giant O2聽has appointed聽Manchester digital agency聽e3creative聽after a ‘rigorous’ tendering process.

It will use the company’s digital knowledge to drive Pay As You Go sim card distribution and sim card activation across the UK through digital tools and ongoing marketing strategies.

鈥淲e will be looking to drive awareness of O2鈥檚 products through their Star Trader platform, harnessing higher sim activations and reduce sim waste across the UK.

The company鈥檚 marketing director Jessica Bradley said:聽鈥淥ur plan is to drive the growth of O2 in a tactical way that hasn鈥檛 been fully activated before.

鈥淲e will be聽utilising聽core channels to activate the brand from search, PPC and social media through to CRO, implementing our UX teams in order to provide research-led strategies to drive聽better conversions and awareness across the brand.鈥

The agency has offices in Manchester, London and Newcastle, and has previously worked with big-name brands such as Sony, PlayStation and Manchester鈥檚 Money Plus Group.
