A payments company headquartered in Paris has targeted UK growth.
The company which employs 500 people globally and has a presence in 170 countries made the pledge following the appointment of Stephanie Fougou聽as group general counsel and general secretary.
Ingenico, which provides smart payment terminals and e-payment solutions, works with around 200 clients in the UK including large retailers and the likes of Euro Car Parts.
It says it is also 鈥榣eading the POS (point-of-sale) market among banks and acquirers鈥.
鈥淭he UK has a vibrant entrepreneurship culture and is one of the most significant payment markets in Europe; it is therefore a key market for Ingenico,鈥 a spokesperson聽told 老九品茶Cloud.
The company has five premises in the UK including three in Fife. Its warranty and service and customisation and development bases in Scotland recently underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment programme 鈥榯o drive more modern ways of working鈥.

It also has an office in London and a customer helpdesk based in Northwich.
