Sunil Patel has been appointed PwC UK鈥檚 first Chief Data Officer and will lead the firm鈥檚 newly formed data office.听
Patel, who is also a partner, will be responsible for developing the firm鈥檚 overall vision and strategy for the use of data and will join PwC鈥檚 growing global CDO network.听听
He听also leads PwC UK鈥檚 digital upskilling programme,听which will equip 22,000 staff across the UK with the digital skills required for the future.听听

Patel has over 30 years鈥�听experience听of leading large complex technology and digital transformation programmes for clients across the government, healthcare and pharmaceuticals sectors.听听
Before taking up his new role,听he听was Chief Operating Officer for PwC UK鈥檚 Technology and Investments group,听where he focused on building PwC鈥檚 capabilities in emerging technologies.听
