Runna has announced the start of internationalisation on the platform after launching in seven new languages.
The expansion of the app follows its acquisition by fitness giant Strava and the recent launch of 鈥楻aces By Runna鈥.
Runna鈥檚 training plans, coaching videos and partnerships are now available in French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Italian and Japanese.
Runna said every element of the app, from language to imagery and content, will adapt to the cultural context of each new market.
Its partnerships with Lululemon, Maurten and Parkrun will strengthen community partnerships to maximise impact in every localised region, it added.
鈥淏ringing Runna to seven new languages is a huge moment for us,鈥 said Dom Maskell, co-founder and CEO.聽
鈥淭his means millions more runners worldwide聽 can fully experience what we鈥檝e built. This is about more than translation: it鈥檚 about inclusivity, accessibility and global ambition to make running more accessible, effective and enjoyable for everyone.聽
鈥淪trava鈥檚 experience in localisation helped us bring this all to life and their support has been instrumental in bringing this update to market at pace and at scale.鈥
