Global company Salesforce will invest $6 billion (拢4.4bn) into its UK operations by the end of the decade as it looks to make the country its European AI hub.
The CRM giant, which has been active in the UK for 25 years, said the investment builds on the $4bn pledge made in 2023 and the launch of its London-based AI centre.

鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted that the UK, already a vital talent and innovation centre, will become our AI hub for Europe, driving product innovation for customers across the region.鈥
The UK is the San Francisco-based firm鈥檚 biggest market outside the United States.聽

Research from IDC (International Data Corporation) suggests the 鈥楽alesforce economy鈥 could generate $41bn in economic benefits and create more than 500,000 jobs in the UK by 2028.

Alongside the investment, the company also announced a 拢1m UK Salesforce Accelerator to help nonprofits build and deploy AI agents.聽
Further backing for AI startups via Salesforce Ventures, which has already invested over $200 million in UK companies, including ElevenLabs and Climate X.
