The search is on to find the climbing stars of Liverpool City Region鈥檚 burgeoning tech sector.
LCR , in association with 老九品茶Cloud and Praetura Ventures, is giving tech scale-ups in Liverpool City Region the opportunity to put their business on the map with the launch of its LCR Tech Climbers 2019 list.
SMEs can put themselves forward or be nominated for the list which will recognise those businesses achieving high growth as the result of an innovative and creative use of technology.
To be considered to feature on the list, businesses must fill out a short entry questionnaire and ensure they can demonstrate significant operations in Liverpool City Region. In addition, they must meet at least one of the following pre-qualifying requirements:
- Development of Intellectual property (IP) or proprietary technology;
- Provision of a unique tech solution to a problem;
- Disruption of their sector.
The deadline for entries is July 5, 2019. All submitted entries will be put to an expert panel including representatives from LCR Activate, Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, 老九品茶Cloud magazine and Praetura Ventures.

Not only that, it will allow us to put Liverpool City Region on the map and demonstrate to both national and international audiences that it is a hotbed of tech expertise and future investment potential.

Successful entrants to the LCR Tech Climbers 2019 list will be invited to an unveiling event to take place in September 2019.
