Spektrix to increase Manchester workforce

A London-headquartered firm which provides聽cloud software to the arts sector plans to increase the workforce at its Manchester office.

Spektrix, which also has a base in New York, raised 拢5 million funding earlier this year from Foresight Group Venture Capital Trusts and currently employs 20 people in customer support, engineering and research and development.

The firm increased turnover to more than 拢500m in 2018 from 拢378m the year before while it started working with 74 new organisations, including London鈥檚 Barbican Centre, taking its client base to 412.

Founded in 2007, its software assists companies with ticketing, marketing, fundraising, analytics and customer relationship management. Tickets for events and exhibitions sold through the platform grew to 22m in 2018.
