Manchester start-up Node has joined the Concrete VC London proptech residency.
Node, set up by serial entrepreneurs Doug Ward, Shaun Gibson, Paul Crookes and Dave Walker in 2017, provides connectivity solutions and data security platforms for real estate.
Having delivered proof of concept on a number of flagship buildings in the UK and secured business with Allied London, All+, Aviva and Fore Partnership, it has ambitious plans to scale.
After joining the residency based at Fora, which is backed by Silicon Valley-based JLL Spark, Node will look to do that by working alongside Nuveen, Starwood Capital Group, Hammerson and U+I.

鈥淲ith 35 million commercial buildings globally the opportunity to take and own the space in this market is huge.
鈥淥ur focus during this residency will be on business development, further evolution of Node Secure and preparation for international expansion.
