Civica has acquireddigital health software specialistInfoFlex.

The UK arm of the group, which is a provider of software for public services,has acquired Chameleon Information Management Servicesand its subsidiaryInfoFlex, which is based inside the M25 near Watford.

InfoFlexprovidescloudsoftware which integrateswith existing hospital systems across 65 clinical specialities including cancer services, digital remote monitoring solutions (RMS), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and endoscopy.

It has more than 40,000 users across over 130 NHS trusts.During the COVID-19 pandemic,InfoFlexsaystrusts have usedthe platformin innovative ways to manage data collection and reporting.

It cites the example ofWest Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, whichused the software to set up a Virtual Hospital for the administration of patients being cared for in the community.

Siilo has raised a £8.6 million in Series A funding fromEuropean digital healthVC Heal Capital, Philips Health Technology Venture Fund and current investorEQT Ventures.
