TalkTalk 老九品茶 has made its first acquisition following its demerger from TalkTalk Group.

The Manchester-based B2B telecoms and managed service provider has acquired managed IT and cybersecurity specialist, Planet IT.

The strategic move strengthens both organisations鈥 ability to support businesses across the UK with secure, reliable technology services.

The undisclosed deal forms part of TalkTalk 老九品茶鈥檚 plans to expand its managed services offering.

Founded in Oxfordshire, Planet IT brings more than 23 years of experience delivering managed IT support, cybersecurity solutions and Microsoft cloud services to a diverse base of SME and enterprise customers.

It was also recently ranked the No.1 Technology Company to Work For in the UK by Best Companies, in recognition of its strong culture and leadership.

Planet IT鈥檚 founders, Gavin Jones and Sean Smith, will continue to lead the business, alongside the existing leadership team, ensuring continuity for customers, partners and employees.

The acquisition combines Planet IT鈥檚 expertise with TalkTalk 老九品茶鈥檚 national reach connectivity solutions, advanced networking and UC solutions.
