Retail apps specialist One iota has appointed Joe Till as CEO, marking the return of one of the company鈥檚 early senior leaders.

Till rejoins the business after first working at the Greater Manchester-based business in 2016, when he was appointed head of multi-channel solutions.聽

In that role, he supported retailers in better connecting online and in-store experiences.

One iota works with retailers including Hugo Boss, SportsShoes.com and JD Sports, helping bridge the gap between digital and physical retail to deliver easier customer journeys across eCommerce, stores, mobile and fulfilment.

The company鈥檚 apps support use cases such as click and collect, endless aisle, mobile selling and assisted service, aiming to give retailers improved stock visibility, stronger conversion and a more consistent experience across each touchpoint.

Since leaving the business, Till has held senior leadership roles across the retail technology sector, including at Sorted Group and most recently OneStock.聽

In these roles, he worked closely with enterprise retailers on order management, fulfilment and omnichannel strategy.

As CEO, Till will lead the firm鈥檚 overall strategy, with responsibility for driving growth, strengthening partnerships and continuing to evolve the platform in line with retailer needs.聽

He will work closely with the existing leadership team as the company supports customers in building more connected, flexible and resilient retail operations.

鈥淛oe knows One iota, our customers and this market incredibly well,鈥 said Damien Hanson, director at One iota.聽

鈥淗e was part of the business at an important stage in our journey and has since built deep experience across retail technology.聽

鈥淏ringing him back as CEO gives us the leadership we need as we move into the next phase of growth, while staying true to the problems we set out to solve for retailers.鈥

Till added: 鈥淥ne iota has always focused on helping retailers deliver genuinely connected experiences, rather than adding complexity for the sake of it.聽

鈥淭hat mission feels even more relevant now. I鈥檓 excited to return to the business, build on the strong foundations already in place, and work closely with customers and partners as we scale the platform and the team.鈥
