Financial infrastructure tech leader听TrueLayer听has hired听former SVP of听engineering at Checkout.com, Ben Foster.听
An experienced engineer and product manager, he joins听TrueLayer听as听VP of engineering as听the firm continues its global growth听and expands听its open banking platform for payments and data.听听
Foster听will be responsible for managing and scaling the engineering team, working directly with听鈥檚听CTO and co-founder Luca Martinetti to design and execute the firm’s technology听strategy and roadmap.听

Foster is a self-taught programmer and engineer who鈥檚 experience spans multiple industries and technology disciplines. He was the founder听and CTO at Fabrik, a portfolio platform that enables creatives to easily add media, blog and share their work without touching any code.听听
A passion for solving business problems and a desire to work at a bigger scale led him to the world of eCommerce and payments.听
Prior to joining听TrueLayer, Foster was SVP of听engineering at Checkout.com, having joined the firm as one of its first engineers in London,听rising rapidly up its ranks and helping lay the foundations for the firm鈥檚 growth.听
