Twinkl has appointed EdTech expert Harris Goodman as its first US general manager to focus on its growth across the country.聽

Goodman, who will be based in New Jersey, joins as the Sheffield firm continues to expand its US team and accelerate its plans in key states across the country.

He brings more than 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the education technology sector.聽

Most recently, he served as senior vice president of marketing and growth at BrainPOP, where he worked across growth initiatives and helped support the company鈥檚 expansion strategy.

Founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife team Jonathan and Susie Seaton, Twinkl provides learning materials and educational services, which are all teacher-created and checked.

Jonathan, who serves as Twinkl鈥檚 CEO, added: 鈥淗arris Goodman鈥檚 appointment comes at an exciting time for the organisation as we continue our expansion in the United States.

鈥淗e will play an important role in strategically shaping the direction of our US work, building on the strong foundation that has been formed already in markets like Florida, Texas and Georgia, and driving tangible impact for both educators and learners across the nation.鈥

The platform now hosts more than 1.5 million downloadable resources, spanning classroom materials and assessments through to AI tools and augmented reality content.

It is used by educators across the US and in more than 190 countries and regions.

The hire forms part of Twinkl鈥檚 broader international growth plans, as it continues to scale operations in the US alongside its established presence in the UK and continued expansion in markets such as Australia.
