The University of Manchester Innovation Factory (UoMIF) has appointed Dr Catherine Headley as its new CEO.

Headley succeeds Andy Wilkinson, who steps down after playing a pivotal role in transforming UoMIF into a dynamic force for commercialising cutting-edge technology and intellectual property, according to the company.

She has served as interim CEO over the past year, while also continuing her role as director of business engagement and knowledge exchange at The University of Manchester.聽

Dr Louise Bates will succeed Headley in her previous role, having joined from The University of Manchester, where she served as head of strategic partnerships.聽

Headley is aiming to drive UoMIF towards ambitious goals whilst reinforcing Manchester鈥檚 historic role as a hub of technological advancement.
