A tech company providing software for veterinary practices has been acquired.

ClearCoursehas expanded its clinic booking services with the acquisition of Crewe-based Practice Point, which is behind the Assisi Veterinary System.

The systemis designed to fully integrate into any practice from small animal to farm and equine. Its core components include e-billing, integrated payments, online booking, reporting and maintaining client and patient records, all which can also be accessed through a mobile app.

It is currently installed at 181 veterinary practice sites across the UK and Ireland.

Gerry Gualtieri, CEO ofClearCourse, said: “The deal comes at an exciting time in Assisi’s journey, with a growing customer base and expanding products.

“It also provides opportunities to further improve and enhance its interface andoptimisethe user-experience.”

The Practice Point management team will remain with theorganisation.

The financial terms of the deal are undisclosed.
