The West Midlands听has been appointed to Innovate Finance鈥檚听FinTech National Network after听global investment bank Goldman Sachs revealed plans to establish a major new tech function in听Birmingham.
The FinTech National Network brings together regional clusters up and down the country to encourage collaboration听and 鈥榣evel up鈥� FinTech in the UK.听
Spearheading the West Midlands鈥� presence on the Network is听SuperTech听鈥� the UK鈥檚 first professional services technology supercluster听with a focus on听FinTech,听LegalTech,听PropTech听and听InsurTech.听

Goldman Sachs鈥� investment is set to听create听several hundred jobs.听The investment bank鈥檚 decision was the result of a rigorous site selection process, which favoured the city as a strategic location for expansion because of its deep-rooted talent pool;听strong leadership in technology and related industries; and听proximity to London.听听听
