World Cup champions France have signed a deal with wearable technology firm Catapult.
The men鈥檚 team used Catapult鈥檚 athlete-tracking technology before and during the 2018 World Cup win in Russia.
The French Football Federation has now extended that agreement and will be supplied with more than 100 athlete monitoring devices as part of a multi-year partnership.
The devices will be worn by the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 senior football teams as well as the 鈥楤鈥 teams and development squads based at the national training centre in Clairefontaine.
鈥淲e are delighted to be able to work with Catapult as a member of the FFF Performance Centre,鈥 said Pauline Gamerre, director of business development at the FFF.
鈥淐atapult鈥檚 experience and the effectiveness of their solutions make them a leader in their field and we are looking forward to working together to put the best technologies and cutting-edge sports science at the heart of the Performance Centre.鈥
Catapult provides an analytics platform and video data tools alongside its wearable vests and devices.
