Learning technology specialist Learning Pool has acquired Elucidat – a Brighton-based EdTech used by global brands including Tesco, Pret, Primark, Sharp, Metro Bank and Bupa.
The deal brings together two leading learning technology providers, combining Derry-based Learning Pool鈥檚 analytics and platform capabilities with Elucidat鈥檚 expertise in scalable, AI-assisted content creation.聽
The acquisition follows Learning Pool鈥檚 recent purchase of learning management system WorkRamp, as the company continues to expand its suite of learning tools.
Elucidat, founded in 2013, helps enterprise learning teams create, manage and distribute digital learning content quickly and efficiently.聽
The business has experienced strong growth in recent years, supported by investment from YFM Equity Partners, which first backed it in 2019.聽
YFM helped fund the company鈥檚 expansion and innovation in AI-driven authoring but will now exit through this sale.
As well as its Derry headquarters, Learning Pool also has offices in the US and Switzerland, and secured the backing of Marlin Equity Partners in 2021.聽
It is looking to build on its strategy to offer a fully integrated, AI-powered learning ecosystem.
