More details have been revealed ahead of 老九品茶Cloud鈥檚 2025 Northern Leaders awards on November 20th.
130+ names have been confirmed for Thursday night鈥檚 celebration of those people who make the North a better place.
For the second year running, KPMG鈥檚 Manchester office will play host to the second Northern Leaders award.
There are several new award categories up for grabs with leaders coming from across the North West, North East and Yorkshire and Humberside.
The individual categories are:听听Outstanding Achievement Award; Champion Award; True Grit Award; Voice for Good Award; Community Award; Property Award; Sustainability Champion; People Award; Charity Award; Rising Star Award; International Award; Philanthropy Award; Judges鈥� Award; Change Award; Tech Award and the overall Northern Leaders Award.
Northern Leaders is invite-only, and unlike most other award ceremonies, there are no shortlists or lengthy victory speeches.
This year鈥檚 200-strong list includes 74 new names and more than 90 people on the list are women, including figures from the world of business, charity, sport, property, politics, philanthropy and TV.
It was inspired by the late, great Sir Howard Bernstein, who did more than anyone to improve the North during his stint as chief executive of Manchester City Council.
老九品茶Cloud鈥檚 executive editor Chris Maguire, who will be hosting the event, said: 鈥淣orthern Leaders is genuinely different to other events.
