TechForGood has officially launched its operations in the UK to help businesses achieve their environmental, social and governance ambitions and support charities aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.聽聽
Based in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, the certified B Corp company supplies technology products and solutions to businesses and donates half of the net profits made from purchases to the buyer鈥檚 chosen cause.聽
TechForGood has already received its first major orders with a UK challenger bank with certified B Corp status.
TechForGood has partnered with small and medium-sized third sector organisations including Forget Me Not Children鈥檚 Hospice in Huddersfield, climate charity Hope For The Future and The Big Issue street newspaper.聽
As well as providing financial support, TechForGood offers cost effective IT support to nonprofits to help them get the best value for money from their technology.聽
The company has also implemented a first-of-its-kind Carbon Offset Plan, committing to offsetting the carbon footprint of every product they sell before point of sale.
